Department of Management Studies is one among the oldest colleges of MBA in the region, under Vidya Bharati Shaikshanik Mandal, Amravati which started with the intake capacity of 30 students grown to intake capacity of 60. Established brand of MBA pulls the students from all over the region and from different segments of the society. The huge multistoried building equipped with physical infrastructure built as per the norms of AICTE, New Delhi is the star attraction. Conducive environment for teaching-learning, best university results, curricular and extracurricular activities, placements are the most attractive features of the department. Above all the creative and innovative human resource is the key to the success of department. The Department of Management offers total of four courses i.e. Three PG courses MBA, MHRD, MCM which were established in the year 1995, 1995 and 2000 respectively while the under graduate course BBA was introduced in the year 2000. The pattern of these courses is Semester wise. To improve upon the student personality and imbibe the socially responsible culture and value, special student forum is created for this and named as AMS (Association of Management Students) and GEMS (General Events & Management Society). Many functions such as celebration of Introduction programme to newly entered students, farewell function to the senior students, arranging of Guest lectures, Seminars, Speeches, Presentation competition, Industrial visits to many organizations, Tours, Teacher’s Day celebration, Workshops on Synopsis Writing etc. are organized by the Management Society. Thus, Management Department keeps in mind the social responsibility of education institute during admission, by satisfying each and every segment of society and focuses towards Output based education by giving students an overall learning experience.
