As per the directions received from the State Government, the college has framed a Cell for Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace. The Cell frames the policies of prevention of sexual harassment. Even the redressal mechanism is clearly defined. In the beginning of every session the cell works to create awareness, orientation and sensitization on the act by flashing the information on notice board on every floor of the building. It is also reflected in the College Prospectus. The students (girls & boys) are given the idea of working of the cell in the respective classes. It is notified in Girls Hostels also. The complaints based on gender inequality, or any kind of harassment on campus is forwarded to the cell. The members of the cell meet twice in the session or as per the requirement of the action to be taken against any grievance or trouble. The issue is discussed and resolved according to its intensity. An annual report is prepared by the cell and it is forwarded to the principal of the college.
